With hundreds of units in operation across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and North Dakota MRW enclosed combustors, often called vapor combustors, are designed to destroy vapors from PRODUCED OIL or WATER TANKS. We have developed systems specifically engineered for the smokeless combustion of heavy (high BTU), low-pressure streams without the use of utility power. These combustors don't require forced air for smokeless combustion at 100:1 or greater turndown and are built to Quad O standards. Vapors from multiple tanks can be controlled with a single VCU – with or without utility power.
MRW has provided single VCUs for a heat release rating of <1 MMBTU/hr to as large as 50 MMBTU/hr, eliminating the need to install, maintain, and support multiple combustor stacks and control systems. For non-standard applications, our team of experienced engineers can quickly and economically develop systems to combust multiple vapor streams of different pressures and compositions.
